Tata Power ‘Club Enerji’ now a self-sustaining movement led by school children!

Mini Club members of Club Enerji, Tata Power’s nationwide energy conservation movement, have been spreading the message of energy conservation far and wide.

In line with this self-sustaining movement, Club members from Gurunanak High School, Bhandup, organized ‘Spark of Life’, a painting competition for students from Class VII and VIII. More than 50 students participated in this competition which was based on ‘Energy and Resource Conservation’. Members of this mini club include students of Standard VIII- Pratik Singh (leader of the club), Anjali Negi, Suchitra Singh, Mrityunjay Pandey and Azar Mohammad Padha.

Speaking on this initiative, Mr. Anil Sardana, Managing Director, Tata Power said, “The success of mini Club Enerji initiative is key to make Club Enerji a self-sustaining movement. We strongly believe that these mini clubs will take Club Enerji to the next level and make it a movement with their enthusiasm and dedication to the cause of energy and resource conservation.”

“We enjoyed forming a mini Club Enerji of our own and have planned various awareness drives within our school and in our society. We will also be participating in an awareness rally on energy conservation to drive the message to masses.”  said Pratik Singh, leader of the Mini Club Enerji and student of Standard VIII.

In the third year of association with Club Enerji, members are invited to form their own Mini Club Enerjis.
