~Reaches more than 1000 people~

Club Enerji, Tata Power's nationwide movement, has been constantly working towards spreading the message of being responsible citizens by conservation of natural resources across the country. In line with this commitment, Tata Power’s Club Enerji students from St. Theresa high school, organised a rally in Kolkata, to create awareness on the conservation of forests, energy and the environment.

The objective of this initiative was to sensitize the public at large and create awareness on the importance of preserving the nature and environment. An attempt was made to encourage the children to be socially responsible citizens and contribute towards building sustainable societies. More than 75 students aged between 12-15 years participated in the awareness rally and sensitized close to 1000 people by propagating slogans on forest conservation and demonstrated several ways to conserve the environment through showcasing banners and placards.

Speaking on this initiative, Mr. Anil Sardana, MD & CEO, Tata Power, said, “Tata Power’s Club Enerji has always undertaken several initiatives that would contribute to the integrated and holistic development of children. This awareness rally is a step towards making a long term impact on the environment that would benefit future generations and help in building a sustainable community. We would like to thank the students and the management of St. Theresa High School for their effort and support and making this initiative a grand success.”
