 At the Tata Power Energy Savers Club this month, celebrations are in full swing! An enthusiastic bunch of Power Kids, kicked off the first ever Power Kids League workshop! A month-long initiative that used young Energy Champions to sensitize people about the immediate need for energy conservation.
The Energy Champions helped raise awareness and spread the word among 1553 students, and collectively managed a commendable savings of INR 11, 903/-. All this by merely promoting and adopting energy saving measures, to reduce electricity consumption!
 Innovative and thoughtful, the young bunch went about spreading awareness through interactive events including poster competitions, slogan slug-outs, short relays and society sensitization drives.
 Esha Shetty and Anoushka Jain were among the star performers in the event! The Energy Champions successfully organized a “Batti Bandh” in their society premises! Accordingly, many families voluntarily switched off the lights and gathered in the society premises for a fun evening! The Energy Champions also initiated awareness drives and talks within the immediate neighborhood educating members on how to be individually responsible and accountable. The drawing and slogan competitions also added fun, color and spunk to the entire awareness drive!
What's more! The Energy Champions also diligently submitted a project report of their awareness drive! With fun drawings, articles and more...the report documented the efforts of the young children. Each of the Energy Champions were conferred with participation certificates and some students received Meritorious certificates.
